Is thanksgiving, a good time for a Miami or daytona beach vacation? Weather, crowd etc?

I am planning to go on a vacation to Florida during last week of november. what is the best place to visit? What will be the weather like? I am more interested in quiet beach area, water sports and national parks. Thanks!

Most people go home for the Thanksgiving holiday, it’s the busiest air travel time of the year, period. So, if you don’t mind dealing with crowds at airports and avoid traveling at least 2 days before and 2 days after Thanksgiving, your plane travel should be okay.

There shouldn’t be too many crowds, especially on Thanksgiving, but alot of things might also be closed because it’s not only a holiday week but also off season.

Personally, I would go for Daytona Beach but the temps are about the same in either place.
